Choosing the right gaiwan can be a challenge for both beginners and experienced tea drinkers, alike. Although its design seems simple, several characteristics differentiate gaiwans from one another. We designed our Tea Dealers Collection Pro Gaiwan Set with an ideal size, ease of use, and pouring ability in mind. Its extremely thin but durable build makes it lightweight and showcases the skilled craftsmanship of Jingdezhen and the pure quality of the clay. The lid includes a distinctive feature that enables it to rest on the rim of the brewing vessel when pouring in water or while letting the tea cool. This is our preferred vessel for brewing and tasting premium Chinese teas. The accompanying cups, tall and slender like wine glasses, concentrate the tea’s aroma and complement the set’s contemporary design. Jingdezhen is considered the birthplace of porcelain, where many established ceramic artists from all over the world visit to learn the most advanced techniques.
