White Tea
White tea is the oldest type of tea and does not undergo extensive processing. Instead, it is withered and dried, keeping its natural chemical structure intact. This traditional tea-making method produces delicate flavors and can vary greatly depending on the age and type of leaves or buds used. The name is derived from the silver hair trichomes on the buds, but white tea can also include leaves and have a range of appearances while maintaining its unique aroma and taste. For a richer flavor and aging, higher oxidized white tea is recommended.
