石乳 "Stone Milk"
Stone Milk is a nearly extinct strain of Wuyi Mountain, originating over two centuries past, and is a traditional variety in the realm of rock tea. Its clusters are renowned for this flavor, and it hails from Hui Yuan Keng, the heart of this region's tea production, where its availability is scant. Shi Ru is a hallmark specimen, brimming in frankincense, well-balanced tea flavor, luxuriously creamy body texture, exquisite watery perfume, and a silky feel on the palate dripping with mountain flavor. Stone Milk's soup is as sumptuous and velvety as fresh cream, possessing an unmistakable, austere moss and nectar aroma while showing off milk and almond undertones. It is deemed one of the finest of Wuyi mountain teas.
Since 2017, the workshop of Ye Qitong, a renowned Intangible Cultural Tea Master, has been carefully crafting our Wu Yi Yan Cha. Ye Qitong selects the best varietals grown in Wu Yi Shan ravine, resulting in Cliff Rock Oolongs, among the finest in China. These teas are distinguished by the age of their trees and expert use of charcoal-firing techniques.
