佛手 "Buddha's Hand"
This ancient varietal hails from the Fujian province and is planted by the picturesque Nine Bend River and labeled Banyan "Half Cliff Tea." Named after the hand-sized leaves on the tree, resembling bergamot. In the teapot, they drape contently and release a wintry aroma akin to a snow pear. At first sip, it's milder in flavor, requiring patience and attentive brewing for each nuanced layer to be fully revealed. An excellent option to hone your tea-tasting skills! Its taste unfolds itself like a long hike on a foggy mountain path.
