Bang Dong is one of the four renowned tea regions in Lincang, its fame stemming from its ancient Wild Arbor trees, which live in superb natural conditions at high elevations of 1500m above sea level and are regularly shrouded in dense fog during morning hours. Lincang's relative obscurity compared to that of the well-known Menghai area has enabled it to avoid exploiting its resources from overharvesting and using immature, low-grade plants. This beautiful Puerh tea has been perfectly dry-aged for almost sixty years, forming a work of art with its elegant flavor and deep energy. The teas from this region are single origin and are not blended with other areas to encompass a purity and signature taste.
