Yui Tsujimura, the son of renowned potter Shiro Tsujimura, found his passion for pottery right after finishing high school. In 2000, he set up his studio near his parents' home, deeply influenced by his family's love for ancient ceramics, especially Sue ware from the Sanage region. Drawing inspiration from this, Yui devised a unique technique of applying natural glaze to Sue pottery. He fires his pieces in a self-constructed underground kiln using his original firing method, creating a distinctive green luminescence.
