Organic Sijichun "Four Seasons"
Sijichun is a hybrid variety developed in the 1980s, a cross between a Chinese Wuyi cultivar and Qing Xin, grown at lower elevations. Low-temperature roasting brings out the special milky, creamy flavor of Taiwanese oolong tea, and this year's vintage is among the finest of the past decade. The challenging conditions of the drought and heat wave resulted in a concentrated flavor with an exquisite floral essence, filling the room and lingering in the cup after multiple steepings.
