efu is an incense burner designed for burning incense sticks horizontally. The fragrance gently spreads as the smoke slowly rises through the slits, allowing you to enjoy the smoke's sway. Made of brass, it features a two-tone design with a mirror-polished lid and a rough-finished base. The contrasting finishes enhance each piece's unique character, and you can enjoy the different aging processes that occur over time. To allow you to enjoy the aging process, the surface is not coated with a clear finish. The incense smoke rising from the straight slits wavers, lingers, and, in contrast to the shape of the main body, displays an organic and accidental expression. The name efu incorporates the meanings of "1/f fluctuation," which is said to evoke a feeling of comfort, with "f" from Frequency, "f" from Fluctuation, and "f" from Flow (the flow of incense smoke).
