Nagae+

NAGAE+ began in Takaoka, a small city in Toyama that has shaped metal by hand for more than four hundred years, once the copperware heart of the Kaga Domain, the largest fiefdom of the Edo era. Working from that inheritance, NAGAE+ pares each piece back to its essentials — brass, stainless steel, a single considered form — trusting the material itself, left unlacquered and unhurried, to carry the beauty rather than any applied finish. It's a design language built on restraint: nothing added that isn't necessary, nothing hidden that the hand and eye can't discover on their own. What results are objects meant to age alongside the people who use them — quietly, faithfully, for a long time to come.
