八仙 2024 "Eight Immortals"
Grow in Banyan (outside the central gorge at lower elevations) in an ecological tea garden. The trees of this unique varietal are about 45 years old and were roasted slowly with charcoal at lower temperatures to optimize the signature aromatic qualities. It is a very light roast, with large, beautiful leaves and a deep floral essence that leaves you longing. Often found in Dan Cong style but much better prepared in the Yancha roasting method, which enhances the floral notes and has no vegetal notes.
