"Xian Yuan Yi Qing” translates to the fragrance traveling far and wide, becoming purer. Few names accurately describe the fine character of this tea better than “Yellow Rose.” Huang Mei Gui is a hybrid between two specific tea plant varieties: Huang Jin Gui and Huang Dan, developed in 2002. This selection is quite distinct, as it originates from the Zheng Yan region and is produced in limited quantities each year. It is handcrafted under the supervision of Master Ye Ruyu (叶如玉), founder of Yan Zhu and sister of Master Ye Qitong (叶启桐).
In 2026 we celebrate our ninth year working with the Ye family of Wuyishan: Master Ye Qitong, who led the creation of the national standard samples for Wuyi Yancha, and his sister Master Ye Ruyu, founder of Yan Zhu. We are honored to serve as the first exclusive international ambassador of Master Ye Qitong’s brand.
