正山小种花香 · Floral Scent Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong 2026
Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong (正山小种) is the original Lapsang, from Tongmu Guan (桐木关), a remote, high-mountain valley within the protected core of Wuyishan National Park, and the birthplace of black tea.
Picked in early spring from small-leaf bushes, this is the unsmoked style favored in China today. Without the pine smoke of the export Lapsang, the tea’s own character comes through: an intensely sweet, floral aroma, a medium body with light, gentle tannins, and a hint of toastiness. Delicate yet pronounced, it finishes long and sweet, with the clean mineral edge that marks it unmistakably as a tea of the Wuyi Mountains.
