高香茉莉白茶 · Highly Fragrant Jasmine White Tea
Handcrafted and traditionally sun-dried, the fourth-generation Zhang Lixiong. Professor Zhang was honored in 2024 as an Intangible Cultural Asset in Fuding White Tea production and aging. He is a national-level 1 tea taster and a Senior Engineer in Tea Manufacturing, and he already holds another Intangible Heritage award for Bailin Gonfu Black tea making.
Highly Fragrant Jasmine White Tea is Zhang Lixiong's 6‑times scented high‑fragrance jasmine tea, made by repeatedly scenting a base of single buds from Fuding Dabai or Dahaocha tea with fresh jasmine blossoms. Each scenting cycle (窨) involves layering the tea with flowers overnight (10–12 hours), then gently drying the leaves. This process is repeated six times in total, resulting in a tea with a rich, fresh, long‑lasting jasmine aroma and a mellow, full‑bodied taste.
