One of the rarest representations of Yancha made only from a single grove of 120-year-old Shui Xian trees from Huiyuankeng. These ancients have stood the test of time and crossed a thousand rivers, "Qian Chuan" to survive. The taste comes forward with a commanding presence and weight, while completely balanced. All floral, sweetness, structure, aroma, and aftertaste aspects are perfectly aligned until the end. The sensation while drinking is a sense of overwhelming calmness, like the flowing water of a mountain creek.
When a Lao Cong Shui Xian tree reaches 100 years of age, it is referred to as Bai Nian, and its characteristics become even more powerful than before. Given the millions of visitors who pass through this gorge, it is quite rare to find trees of such an old age.
