Shuang Jiang Bang Mai 2020
Bang Mai tea mountain is 30 kilometers away from Shuangjiang County, inhabited by the Lahu people. Tea trees are about 300 years old offspring of ancient millennial tree varietals that propagate the entire "Immortal Mountain" area at 1800 meters above sea level. It is processed from sun-drying (Ri Shai 日晒) with more than eight hours of sunlight to reflect the most natural tea fragrance. The unique oxidation level has transformed the taste into a vibrant floral bouquet similar to an amber oolong. The tannins are soft yet expressive, with a pronounced astringency and impressive aroma. Medium viscosity with a long-lasting plum tartness. The aroma transforms from funky raw honey to fine incense in the later stages.
