2020 Spring Wild Persimmon Leaf
In early spring, the young and tender leaves of the wild persimmon trees of Hadong Valley are at their peak. The trees use all the winter's stored resources to produce the first leaves that are full of nutrients and picked before the fruit forms. Most people only know about the persimmon's fruit, but the leaves have a large number of vitamins and it's benefits have long enjoyed in China, Korea, and Japan.
Slight sweet with a nutty after taste. Notes of flowers and green herbs.
