There is something so ethereal about aged Da Hong Pao that leaves you in utter astonishment at its robust aroma yet delicate taste. A completely handmade beauty, dry-aged over a decade, exhibiting a pure aged fragrance and taste referred to as Chen Xiang (陈香). Chen Xiang is characterized by an earthiness that arises as the tea's natural sugars slowly break down and evolve into a refined and noble quality.
We packed this limited release in a small, stainless steel canister to enhance the aroma of the dry leaves and serve as a perfect storage vessel. Zheng Yan Da Hong Pao 2008 is a special release from Master Qitong’s reserve collection, and we are incredibly excited to share it with you.
