Shui Xian is named after the heavenly aroma of the Narcissus flower, renowned for its wonderfully balanced taste and fragrance. The flavor is not overpowering, yet it captures all the right notes. Once a Shui Xian tree reaches 60 years of age, it is referred to as Lao Cong, meaning "Old Tree." As the tree ages, it produces fewer leaves and directs more energy into the few it does have. This results in leaves with a higher concentration of nutrients, leading to an exquisite, deep flavor with a milder caffeine effect. When crafted by Master Ye, Lao Cong Shui Xian becomes an absolute work of art!
This year, 2025, we commemorate our eighth year working with the studio of the legendary Tea Master Ye Qitong and have been appointed the first exclusive international ambassador of his extraordinary brand. It is a great honor to be recognized as a Tea company whose love of tea, research, and education aligns with Master Ye's vision.
