There should be a balance between beauty and function after quality. There is an artistic and functional standard for evaluating Yixing teapots, and it should refine tea making by appearance alone. As we are tea-lovers, our propensity is for shapes and styles that aid in making tea well. These classic, simple shapes are a perfect canvas to create a deep luster and patina over time.
