Born in Dingshu Town, Yixing City, he was influenced by the art and culture of Zisha pottery since he was a child. He apprenticed under legendary Master Liu Mengai.
Hei Liao black clay originates from the Baoshan mining area in Huang Long Shan and is a classic clay in the Zisha category. It is very dense and rare clay hidden under layers of quartzite layer with a purple-black appearance is purple-black. There is a light color gradation of the mineral material. The firing temperature is 1180-1220 ° C, with a shrinkage rate of 8% resulting in a fine semi-glossed finish.

Preparation For Use:
We recommend rinsing the teapot under purified or bottled warm water twice, the same quality water used for making the tea, then filling it with boiling water and emptying it two to three times. After this preparation, the teapot is ready for use.
