Qi Lan Xiang
奇兰香 "Rare Orchid Fragrance"
Qi Lan Xiang is roasted in the classic Wu Yi standard middle roast, and the difference is astounding. The aroma is strong, high, and lasting, the tea soup is bright orange, and the taste is strong and sweet. There is so much maturity in the many layers of caramelized sweetness and captivating astringency that it beckons for another steeping. Even at the very end, after you've peeled off each of the layers, you will find the essence of a "Rare Orchid Fragrance."
Since our first meeting in 2017, all of our Wu Yi Yan Cha are produced by the studio of the renowned Ye Qitong. All of the varietals are grown within the Wu Yi Shan gorge and represent some of the absolute highest quality Cliff Rock Oolongs in China for the maturity of the trees and experienced charcoal firing techniques.
