Third generation Iga-yaki potter and a rising star in the ceramics world. Born in 1973 in Osaka, Japan. He built his first anagama in 2002 and second one in 2008. His works are intensely fired multiple times to achieve the bidoro glass puddles and landscape effects. The geometric shinogi pieces add a modern aesthetic to the traditional Iga style and transforms them into utilitarian sculptures. A pleasure to use and hold or simply admire on a shelf.
