Included in the boxed set is a single cultivar gyokuro made from pure Gokoh leaves, an exquisite hand picked sencha with pine needle shaped leaves, and an incredibly aromatic low roasted houjicha from first picked leaves.
50g Ichibancha Uji Houjicha, 50g Uji Tezumi Handpicked Sencha, and 25g Uji Gokoh Gyokuro
Sencha: 5g per 180ml (6oz) of water at 70ºC (160ºF) for about 60s. Resteep 1-2 more times
Houjicha: 5g per 240ml (8oz) of water at 95ºC (195ºF) for about 60s. Resteeep 3-4 times.
Gyokuro: 5g per 100ml (3.5oz) of water at 55ºC (130ºF) for 120s. Resteep 3-4 times each time gradually increasing temperature and shortening the steeping time.
