We will be preparing a very special kaiseki dinner for Valentine's day. Tea kaiseki is very different from the elaborate 15 course presentation done at restaurants. Tea cuisine is humble and refined in its rustic simplicity. Only the highest quality ingredients are used and it is a healthy meal that consists of raw and cooked fish, sometimes meat, steamed rice, vegetables, miso soup, a small dessert, and of course a bowl of matcha.
